Nascar Race Today

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend for the Duck Commander500. This is the seventh race on the Sprint Cup Series schedule.

Tony Stewart will lead field of 43 car to the green flag on Sunday after setting the fast time in qualifying.

Coverage of the Duck Commander 500 will take place on FOX beginning at 3:00 pm ET with the green flag set to wave at 3:16 pm ET. Sunday's race will be 334 laps around the 1.5-mile track located in Fort Worth, TX.

This race will be dominated by the Robinson family of Duck Dynasty fame. Si Robertson will be the Grand Marshal while Phil Robertson will wave the green flag. The Invocation will be given by Sadie Robertson while Missy will sing the National Anthem.

In pace cars for the start of this race will be Willie Robertson and Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten.

Winning this race was season was Kyle Busch while Jimmie Johnson won at Texas in the fall.
