Nascar Race Today

It's race day for NASCAR at Darlington Raceway and for the first time in a long time weather will not be an issue.

No rain is expected at Darlington Raceway for the Sprint Cup race tonight. It feels like it has been ages since any meteorologist could write or say that about a NASCAR race. Weather will be picture perfect for the Bojangles Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway thanks to a large area of high pressure dominating the weather over the southeastern United States. The forecast for tonight's Sprint Cup race will be mostly clear, nice with a light southerly wind.
